Jon Low, a Pretty In White preferred photographer partner has literally started the new year with a bang. Jon’s photography studio, previously known as Ideal Wedding is now Jon Low Studios. Jon has revamped his website; www.jonlow.com which reflects his new branding & photography style with a brand new company logo that looks vaguely similar to Jon’s favourite football team.

To top it all off, Jon will be conducting two 30-minute workshop session during the upcoming Prince Hotels’ Wedding Fair on 9th & 10th Jan 2010. Details can be found here.

Taken to The Dry Cleaners!

We have been asked, many a time, by our brides – “Why do you charge for Dry Cleaning? ” or “Why can’t we use our own Dry Cleaners instead?”. This is normally followed by the; “Are you trying to make more money from me”, look…..

Well it’s time to put this matter to rest, in the passionate Italian “Godfather” style;

The reason why our dry cleaning charges are kept separate is because we don’t restrict the number of times a customer wants to take her rented wedding gown out. Our customers have the liberty of taking their rented wedding gowns out as many times as they require; for their pre wedding photoshoot session, their wedding ceremony; and in some cases for their second or even third wedding dinner ceremonies which are held at later dates. This flexibility comes at no extra charge when a bride rents a wedding gown from Pretty In White.

Behind The Scenes with Jenny Sun

It’s not often you get to witness a passionate photographer at work. Based on a recent pre-wedding photo session of one of our brides who took her Wedding Gowns from us, Valen’s photos turned out beautifully under the skillful hands of Jenny Sun. This has got many of our clients asking, “Where is that location?” and “How did they manage to take such beautiful shots?”.

Well, we finally gained access to the “behind-the-scenes” video footage of this photo shoot session and the answers to all these questions are in the video including some interesting never-been-released footage, like Yellow Construction Boots ala Phua Chu Kang; cows & squirrels; the famous One Tree Hill and the twirling of the veil technique!

Bridal Workshop at Holiday Inn Glenmarie

To all Brides-To-Be (BTB’s), Holiday Inn Glenmarie together with Pretty In White & Bridal Glam, will be organizing a bridal workshop on 13 December 2009. Two of our designers, Elaine Kong & Stephanie Ong will be sharing fashion tips and advice with Elaine talking on selecting the ideal wedding gown design, while Stephanie will be presenting everyone’s favorite subject – custom-making your wedding shoes.

We guarantee that both presentations will be lively & interactive as we will be using real brides to showcase our gowns & shoes. During this workshop you will be getting expert advice that is practical & useful, not only from our designers, but also from our preferred partner, Ms Lee Kuen of Bridal-Glam, who is amongst the renowned make up artist in Malaysia. AS an added bonus, Pretty In White will be offering special prices for our products, exclusively for our workshop participants.

Holiday Inn Glenmarie is hosting this event and providing a sumptuous spread, besides offering irresistible wedding packages.
